[Icom] external speaker for IC 746

I'm using an IC746 with a Timewave DSP 59+ and the combination works well. I can't think why you would have
trouble on voice peaks unless you are driving the input of the DSP filter with excess audio. I imagine you
already know that. Anyway, with the DSP filter in line I generally keep the volume control on the 746 between
the 8 and 9 o'clock position. (Also, I'm using a mono plug to take audio from 746 for the DSP filter.)
Sorry I can't offer more information except for thE fact it should work. Does the setup sound ok with
headphones (which on the DSP 59+ must be stereo)? If it works with headphones, can you try a different
external speaker?
