after looking for some time on your e-mail on the mark v and the proll 
i think you need to know some fact:
do you have the mark v  i know you don't have it 
proll you have yes i have this 2 rig 
and what antenna do you have? 
you have poor GP antenna. 
now i use 22 element logperiodic antenna 
and did test one on one the 2 radio the 
mark v is the best receiver ever made 
the 1000d came 3rd 
the 2nd proll 
yes indeed. 
i don't like people like you that have some opinion with no fact 
if you don't have the radio don't send some people to see what the reflector 
say about it. most of the problem that some have is using a very poor g5rv or 
GP antenna like u use. i think it is better first to have a good antenna then 
have a good radio. now what some doing is buy a nice high end car and go off 
road 
is the car will be OK after long drive on off road >? well i don't think so. 
that's how i look at it 
i have many top end radio receiver as well, and i have to say that for me the 
mark v is best receiver. the proll i love this radio i have 2 of this radio.
it is a good radio. 
so lets keep it nice 
if you don't have the radio do not send us to look on some other web pages. 
and first have a good antenna. or have a poor antenna and old radio they will 
work just fine as well
