Hi all,
I have a SM-10 and 706MKIIG.  When I connect the SM-10 to the 706 and 
switch the 3 position, power switch from off to Comp, the radio turns 
off.  It will turn right back on at the radio on/off switch with no 
problem.  When the SM-10 switch is in the comp mode the mic works and 
switching between the comp/equalizer positions does not turn the radio 
off.  Everything appears to work on the SM-10, but I have not tried to
have 
someone I know check my audio yet.

Any ideas on how to keep the mic from shutting off the radio, other than

turning on the mic and then turning on the radio?

Any and all help will be appreciated.
