Hi Greg: Don't know current selling price of original Pro's, but certain it
is not a lot just because the introduction of Pro and ProII knocked the
bottom out of their resale value. Purchased mine used and paid $1700, sold
just few months later when Pro came along for much less. Have now owned
them all. I can honestly say the jump from original to Pro is well worth the
cost and effort. Jump from Pro to ProII is less clear and depends upon
certain individual factors. I did it and do not regret it. However, I would
counsel you to go for the Pro now, and by the time you want to jump to the
ProII, will bet the resale price for them will be substantially less than
now. Cheapest Pro I have seen offered recently was $1400 on qth.com. I sold
mine for $1550 in July this year. Price for Pro will continue to slowly come
down as Pro owners need divest them to jump to ProII new or used. Good Luck.
