[Icom] W32a cloning disk questions

The software is looking for the Serial Number assigned to the software, not 
the radio.  You need to get the appropriate number from the original owner 
so you can install the software.

What might be a good idea would be to buy an updated copy of the 
software.  Since you already have the cable, you can buy the latest
