[Icom] IC-706 MK II Slow Tuning Details

Hi and thanks to all for the replies so far.  Here are the more exact
details
of the problem.
On LSB or SSB, using the tuning rate of 10 Hz,  the frequency now only
changes a little less than 1 KHz per dial revolution.  I used to get 2 KHz
which is the same as get in my other 706 MK II.  This slow down of tuning
applies to all modes and all tuning rates but is most noticeable on ssb and
cw either using the 10 Hz or 1 Hz turning rates.
Does anyone know what might cause this problem?
