times for the same problem until the warranty ran out and then they wonted me 
to pay for trip #6. The shipping to Washington state was enough to buy 
another radio Hi Hi. They stopped making that one after only a year or two 
because of the many problems. Five of us went to Dayton that year and all 
bought one of them. They were giving "A deal you can not refuse" that year. 
We found out why when they all started to fail. Some were worse than others. 
I told myself then I would never buy another Icom. I lied to myself. Call me
