I have watched this thread with interest. My mobile operation have always been
plagued by some ignition noise. However the fix has been resistor plugs,
sometimes even additional resistors attached to the plugs, and resistance wiring.
I thought the additional impedance reduced the spark, or at least reduced the
steepness of the front and end of the spark. I will admit this sometimes reduced
the performance of engines. If too many devices were used, the performance
reduction was very noticeable.
Now my question is all the "HOT" wiring seems to be moving in the wrong
directions from my old notions. I wish some one could explain to me how the "HOT"
wiring by Jacobs Electronics, MSD, Moroso, and possibly others reduces ignition
noise.
Thanks for reading this.
