The EX-243 is as hard to find as the FM unit for the IC-551.
I had one offered for sale as part of a package deal with an IC-740.
Nobody wanted it, so I parted it out, sold all the accessory filters,
power supply, etc, got my price out of it, and still kept the EX-243,
which I installed in my IC-735.

Keep looking, it took me 7 years to find all the parts for my IC-901A.
