[Icom] IC751 & IC471A

Hi All..  This is my first message to the reflector so I hope thia is =
the way to do things...
             I have the above mentioned radios  and also a 271A  .I have =
done the parrallel batt mod as per mods.dk
             The 271 is ok but both the HF and UHF radios exhibit the =
same prob.  ie the display reads=20
             2.2khz up from where the radio actually is... eg   to =
listen on 7070 the display reads 7072.2
             to listen on 432.200  the display reads 432.202.2...
              Very strange that both radios do the same thing ?   The =
ramboard from the 471 has been to ICOM NZ
             and had the battery replaced and this is the result =
afterward..Any solution wuold be most welcome
              I am importing an EPROM type replacement board from IK2RND =
for the HF radio and will be interested=20
             to see if this corrects the 751    Thanks and 73    Graeme  =
