Don, I acquired a IC-765 last November, renewing my interest in the hobby I
left 16 yrs ago. It is old, like yours, serial number 1146. I just put the
N6BV mod in yesterday and am amazed, absoutely thrilled, with the way the
rcvr sounds now. Its simple, quick and WORKS!!
