[Icom] Phone Patch Question Continuation

Hi Again, Well I've just acquired a new phone patch to use with my
IC-746.
With the help of a couple of ham friends gave it a trial run last
evening on
75m and the results were very disappointing.

The gent with the phone connection could hardly hear the other ham even
though his signal
was 10+ on my rig.
The phone patch is a new MFJ 624D and my rig is an IC- 746, all appears
properly connected.

Perhaps this has nothing to do with my Icom and is only an issue with
the phone patch.
I have e-mailed MFJ with no reply from them.
I'd really appreciate any help you folks can provide.
