Current EAS Required Monthly Tests that originate from KTRH and WBAP in
Texas are done within a 3 hour window early in the morning or after noon
alternating months....Last one ran at 4:30AM (always the 1st Tuesday of the
first full week of the month)...Schedule is on TAB.ORG website.

Required Weekly Tests that are originated by the stations themselves are
supposed to be done at a random time during the broadcast week (Sunday thru
Saturday). 1300 KSET in Lumberton (north of Beaumont) runs theirs every
Thursday at 5:05PM...which is against the rules...A FCC inspector will fine
them for that.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the old tests were to be conducted within
a "general time period" like between noon and 1230 or something like
that, and as the stations saw fit and if not they could be fined. I
"believe" that this is the first time that they are actually, as I
understand it, requiring a specific time period.

As for the UN, I have to agree with the Birchers, get the US out of
then UN and then kick the UN out of the US.
