Amplifier Saver, Active Audio Filter,
Wattmeters/SWR Bridges, Coax Antenna Switches,
Microphones, HT Speaker Mics, DTMF Touch Tone
Microphones, Accessories for Kenwood HTs, original
Kenwood Manuals, and other Kenwood items For Sale:
MFJ 216 Deluxe "Amplifier Saver":
Amplifier Saver lets you safely tune up your linear amplifier
for full power output and best linearity. It protects your
expensive amplifier during tune-ups from over-heating, tube
damage, power supply stress and arc-over. MFJs innovative
pulse tuning technology lets you tune your amplifier at full
peak output power. It can also be used to evaluate wattmeters
and QSK systems.
It plugs into your rigs CW key jack. Simply press Pulse Tune
button and tune your amplifier normally for maximum power
output. It has Duty Cycle and Pulse Rate controls on front
panel, and is in a fully shielded all metal case. Uses 9 V
battery and measures a compact 3 1/4 x 1 1/4 x 4 inches.
This unit works fine and looks very close to new. MFJ sells
these for $80. But this one for $60.
Autek QF-1 A, Active Audio Filter:
This is an audio filter that goes between your rig and speaker.
It runs off of 110 V AC or 13 Volt DC, and will peak, notch, or
become a low pass or high pass filter. Selectivity (bandwidth)
and frequency are adjustable from the front panel. This is the
"A" model that also has an additional notch filter added.
The input is an 1/4 inch phone plug, and the output is a 1/4
inch jack on the rear panel.
This particular unit works 100%, and looks very, very nice.
I can not find a scratch on it.
With paper work for $50.
Swan WM-2000 Wattmeter / SWR Bridge:
The Swan WM-2000 power meter and SWR bridge covers 3.5 to
30 MHz. Power scales are 200, 1000, 2000 watts. It has a
very large (over 5 inch) meter, for easy visibility. The
rear panel has SO-239 input and output connectors.
This is an extremely nice meter, primarily due to its large
physical meter, making it easy to read.
This one is in extremely good condition. It works 100%
and looks very close to new.
With paper work for $80.
Heath SB-634 Station Console:
The Heathkit SB-634 station console is a multifunction unit.
It contains a 24 hour digital clock (6 large digits, including
seconds), 10 minute interval timer (3 digits -- minutes and
seconds), phone patch and an SWR/Power meter. The large
wattmeter reads either 200 watts or 2000 watts full scale,
in addition to SWR. It matches the Heath SB series of equipment
(Heath green), and is powered by 115 V AC.
This unit works on all of its functions. It looks extremely
nice. I can not find a scratch on it, but there is very slight
(and I emphasize very slight) wear on the 2000 watt push button.
With paper work for $150.
Heath HM-2140 A, dual meter Wattmeter / SWR Bridge:
The HM-2140 A uses two separate meters to measure power and
SWR (forward and reflected power). It will measure either
average power, or peak power (PEP) with a 9 volt battery.
Power ranges are 200 and 2000 watts. Frequency range is
from 160 thru 10 meters. It has a remote sensor, which
permits the meter to be separated from the coax connection
by up to 3 feet. This is the "A" model of this meter, which
is the Heath Brown color (not the green), and has more features.
More details can be found at
http://www.radiomuseum.org/r/heath_wattmeter_hm_2140a_hm2140.html
This particular unit works fine, and looks very close to new.
With paper work for $100.
MFJ "Strip Line" Coaxial antenna switches:
Both of these antenna switches are in a heavy diecast housing
that utilizes "stripline" construction to keep the impedance
very close to 50 ohms. It also permits good operation at
higher frequencies up to 500 MHz, and gives over 50 db
isolation. Unused antenna are grounded, with an additional
position to ground all antennas. SO-239 connectors.
MFJ 1704 Coax Switch
Will switch up to 4 antennas. It works fine and looks close
to new. $55
MFJ 1702 B Coax Switch
Switches 2 antennas. With lightning protection. This one
works 100% and looks great also. $24
Deluxe Desk Microphone w/ Kenwood 8 pin connector:
This is a great looking and great performing low impedance
desk mic. It has a quality Shure 600 ohm cartridge in it
(the cartridge alone is over $40 new), with a very nice
black die case base and neck, with a chrome grill. It
looks somewhat like a Shure 444, but no plastic on this
one -- all metal!
This one looks like new, and works the same. It has a
long (approx 6 foot) cord, with a round 8 pin connector
for Kenwood. $75
Astatic Model 810-6 Gooseneck Microphone:
This mic is on a 12 inch gooseneck. The mic is a brushed
metal about 5 1/4 inches long, and is actually part of the
gooseneck. The cable goes thru the gooseneck. This has a
2 conductor shielded cable, so it is a quality balanced
microphone with about a 4000 ohm impedance. The gooseneck
terminates in a standard 5/8 inch threaded connector.
This one works fine and looks good. $45
Kenwood Hand Microphone with round 8 pin plug:
This hand mic works great on most Kenwood rigs with the
round 8 pin connector, such as the TS-430, TS-440, TS-570,
TM-241, TM-2530, TW-4000, and others.
It only says "Electret Condenser Mic" on it, with no
model number.
Basically, this mic is like an MC-43, only with a couple
more features. Of course it has the mic and PTT switch;
it also has up/down switches on the top. There are four
"extra" buttons labeled Call, VFO, MR, and PF. What these
four buttons do depends on the rig that it is attached to.
They will function on some rigs, and are completely useless
on others. There is also a "Lock" switch on the back.
Regardless if you use the four extra buttons or not, you
still have a mic that works like an MC-43.
This mic works fine, and looks like new. I am guessing it
came with a rig, and was immediately put in the drawer. $30
Speaker Microphones:
All of these have the 3.5 mm and 2.5 mm plugs on them,
as used by Kenwood, Icom, Alinco, Radio Shack, some Yaesu,
and other HTs.
Azden SDX-316
This is the rounder style speaker mic that fits nicely in
the palm of your hand. $ 20
Pryme Speaker Microphone
It works fine and look line new. $20
MFJ-287 Speaker Microphone
This fits the TH-21/31/41 series HTs, TH-205, TH-215, TH-415,
as well as others. It has a 3 conductor 3.5 mm plug and a 2
conductor 2.5 mm plug.
It works fine, and looks close to new. $15
DTMF Touch Tone Microphones:
CES 610 L DTMF Touch Tone Mic
Can manually dial a number, or automatically store it in
the mic, and "speed dial". 12 digit touch tone pad on the
front. 8 pin modular plug (like computer LAN).
Looks to be new. $38
KDK Model TM-2 DTMF Mic
With touch tone pad and up-down switches. It presently
has a round 8 pin connector wired for Kenwood.
Nice condition. $40
Johnson 250-0761-010 / CES 655 L DTMF Mic
It has a 12 digit pad on the front, and is a rugged mic.
Presently with 4 pin plug. Looks to be unused. $38
Yaesu YM-22 DTMF Condenser Microphone
This mic has a 16 digit touch tone (DTMF) pad on the front.
There are up and down buttons on the top, in addition to
the PTT switch.
Stripped and tinned ends. Great condition. $40
Cables for CW keyers and keys:
NEW listing of additional cables

About 3 feet long, and with a 1/8 inch (3.5 mm) stereo
connector on the end, like used by most rigs. $8
As above, but 1/4 inch plug. $8

Cable for straight key
About 3 feet long, with a mono 1/8 inch (3.5 mm) phone

Kenwood Rubber duck antenna for the TH-21 HT
