[HoustonHam] Digital TV ??

Again, doesn’t matter if it digital or analog....RF is RF....the antenna DOESN’T care...what works today will still work after 2/17/09

Though you could get a newer antenna that only picks up 7-51 which would be smaller since you don’t need 2-6 anymore (at least in Houston until someone files to put a LP analog on one of the channels..and it will happen...you can bet on it!) BUT if you change antennas to the ones that pick up only 7-51, you also lose the FM band (and there is talk about using channel 5 and 6 to expand the FM band for either LPFMs or digital FMs)....HD is only a HIGH DEF digital version of TV..your brother probably wont know the real thing either..LOTS of retail folks don’t know the truth...

I need to ask my brother who's employed in retail sales with HD TV and get
the scoop.
Something just not adding up with all this HD stuff.
