Good Thursday Afternoon,
There's a group of us that will be on 144.250 tonight at 9pm (central Time) in the Central Texas Area.
Last Thursday we did this and I worked 10 stations, some worked more some less.
This past Monday night I met K5CLC over in Austin on 144.200, shortly after that I worked 3 stations: 1st near Bastrop (60+ Miles), 2nd in Baytown (100 miles) and the 3rd Corpus Christi (150 miles). This was without a schedule!
According to the Tropo Predictions, http://home.cogeco.ca/~dxinfo/tropo.html Tonight should be better!
So at 9pm if you don't have anythign better to do, turn on your 2m SSB rig, and join us, Vertical or Horizontal it doesn't matter. Bring it on with what you have. I'll be on both a Dualband 2m/440 Vertical and a Horizontal Folded Dipole.
Point your anteannas toward Austin / La Grange / Bastrop / Temple / Corpus Chrisi / San Antonio / Bryan College Station and see who you can hear and work!
If you want to Rag Chew, please QSY up or down a little from 144.250, so the rest can try to make contacts.

PS:IF you don't have SSB capability, why not give 2m FM Simplex a try. 146.520 could he hopping too!
