The BVARC GREATER HOUSTON HAMFEST takes place this
Saturday, March 4, at the Sugar Land Community Center.
  Set up is at 8PM; Exhibit doors open at 9.  For
details, go to 
   www.houstonhamfest.org

Because of the much larger number of expected vendors,
this year BVARC is renting an additional 50% of
tables.  The Hamfest will have invited speakers,
mini-technical sessions, various emergency vehicles,
satellite QSO, VE license exams, tailgating, food and
a grand prize of an ICOM IC-718 all band HF
transceiver.

There will be many raffle prizes and all winner's
tickets of these prizes will be put back into the bin
for the grand prize drawing.

The "88" machine has been moved to SW Houston and is
working so it will be used for the talk in 146.88,
minus offset, 103.5 tone.
