nope
got that wrong..  just the opposite.  he supports flat topping inverted Vees
with a min apex angle of 140*  = the flatter and higher off the ground, the
better.

hope that makes better sense.  also, suggests not using coax or ladder straight
out of the "center" feedpoint of the dipole but only after installing a balun
first, then the feed line.  iow, the way you have described your dipoles.
