[HomeBrew] Less costly way to replace a 6C10 for my Station monitor?

Hmm .. looking at prices on eBay, you can get a tested 6C10 for less than a
pair
of 12AX7's. So I don't think it's going to be worth the trouble of trying
to shoehorn
something into the HO-xx.
