[HomeBrew] Less costly way to replace a 6C10 for my Station monitor?

Apart from capacitances, the triodes in the 6C10 are identical to one-half
of a 12AX7. Unfortunately you would need 2 of these (wasting 1 triode)
to replace a 6C10, plus the hassle of making an adaptor.
There may be a submini high-mu triode; that would work better from an
available space point of view.
