I cannot believe the number of different Chinese digital voltmeters for
sale on the web.

PROBLEM: I bought one to monitor the battery voltage in my mobile set-up.
When it arrives they state emphatically that the power supply for the
meter has to be different than the measured voltage...NOTHING in common
with the two, not even the ground!

Has anyone solved this problem? Maybe with diodes to semi-isolate the two
inputs to this meter (the power supply AND the measured voltage)
--I want to power it and measure the source of the power...the same battery.
