Ian, I am glad you have some interest in what I thought was a possible big
help to radio designers.
I know only a little, and deep radio subjects, like receiver design, are
way over my head. But it occurs to me that the mfr could be queried on the
points you raise...perhaps to the benefit of all.
So I went to the link in my original post

and raised those concerns with National without identifying you. I'll
report what they say.
