[HomeBrew] Lpt port trouble

I made a cw interface to use with Ctwin and Dx4win using the Lpt port. The
problem is when I turn on the computer or restart it the computer will key
the ptt line and will staye keyed until I start Ctwin or Dx4win. In a case
of power failure and the pc comes on when the powe comes back, and the radio
also is on the radio will stay on transmitt. It seems that the Lpt port
activiate the ptt as soon as the bios starts to load. I have only one Lpt
port on the computer. My solution has been tol unplugg the Lpt port when I
leave th shack but that can be forgotten.I am running Xp-Pro with
servicepacks 1 and 2 Any solution? Or how can I write a Bat file that reset
the port.?
