No it wouldn't work very well. Commercial FM is 75 khz wide (wide
band) while amateurs use narrow band - less than 7.5 khz wide. Any
received stuff would be very weak in volume and you'd likely have
trouble with adjacent channel repeaters. The fm capture effect would
still keep a single signal, but a strong adjacent channel might easily
overwhelm the unit.
