[HomeBrew] Use of Lexan for h.v. purposes?

Has anyone used Lexan sheets for heat/h.v. purposes? I would like to build my  1 k.v. bridge circuit (the four microwave diodes, surge resistors and four capacitors) on such a sheet. I think I may be overengineering this a bit but just the same, I would like some comfort thinking that I won't have a chance for 1.2 kv to arc to ground. Cal. N6KYR.
