Hi all,

Sometime ago I asked about powering a 17V laptop from mobile, I 
received several answers, (Step-up circuit, AC converter, 3x6V 
battery, powering from 12 directly), all methods seem viable, but 
will first try the direct 12V power and if that doesn't work the AC 
converter which is the easiest and cheapest from the rest.
