[HomeBrew] 6L6 coil power/heat limitations?

My problem with these AES forms is that some pins pull out with use.
They're not swaged into the base but just glued or epoxied. But nowhere
else to get 'em anymore. The plastic is hard at room temp but a warm (not
hot) soldering iron will start melting them. Q-dope adheres to them really
well. You could always mount a air-dux type coil inside one and not have to
worry about the temp too much.
