The 40673 have been obsolete for many years.   However, other MOSFETS (I
expect better ones) are still available.  Look for 3Nxxxx numbers I
believe Phillips is the supplier.    There are also a few vendors of
obsolete parts that still offer 40673 and 3Nxxxx parts price much higher
than locating a current source.  I have also seen on the web someplace
how to use a couple of regular fets to act like mosfets.  Even if some
of the 3Nxxxx data sheets talk about UHF frequencies they will still
work at HF.

can anyone give me the NTE equiv for the
40673 dual gate MOSFET?   Anyone have 
any i can buy?  Need about 30 total.  Looking
for 1N60s, 1N270s, and any MRF RF power
MOSFETS 

Have some cute tube and SS regen ccts I can
share if you are into buildilng really not super
regens.
