[HomeBrew] Electric Fence Noise

My neighbour has a newly installed electric fence. It seems to be
installed OK and has 3 earth rods spaced about 10 feet apart. Noise
blanker on the Kenwood copes OK most of time although on the low bands
the choice is listening to a click, with it off, or a plop with it on.
Any of you had experience in reducing the noise with an RF choke on the
fence wire? Saw a posting on another list suggesting a 1mH worked OK.
But the very high voltage might destroy the choke. Don't want to be
responsible for cows on the highway!
Was thinking 15 turns of heavy well insulated wire on a 2 inch toroid
might be sufficient. Appreciate your thoughts.
