[HomeBrew] Replacing "air-dux" type coils with toroids???

Hi Cal,

I think Air Dux (or maybe B&W ... same type of coilform) is still in business. A google
search will be useful, as I know it's one of them!

Alternately, you could repair what's in there already with thin strips of plexiglass
glued in  sandwiching the coil. Extend the ends past the end of the coil and you'll have  a
couple
mounting hole spots.

My Lysco wheezes out only about 20w, so I dont think you'll have to worry much about
the circulating currents  overheating anything!
