Do a search for HFPack (or it might be HF Pack).  This group of hams is in
the process of putting together an amp kit for the FT-817. This amp could fit
the bill, although I'm not really sure if its power-out capability meets your
requirements. It's a place to start, though, and it be what you're looking for.
