I'm biased but please give Circad a look before you decide.  I think the
programs that don't include the full package of Schematic to Gerber editing
should be flushed.  Plus Circad is (I think) the only package that caters to
Hams with a less than 1/3rd price for those that are current in the
Callbook.  Check out my page to get the free demo version (Which lets you do
small projects) and if you do decide to buy the full version get in touch
with me as I can get you the special Hams only discount price.  You get the
full version both DOS and WinDoze.  It will run on even your old junker 386
as it's written in Assembler Language.  Fast and compact!
