Subject: [HIham] Ham radio operators in Kalaupapa

Thank you to those who responded to my request for names and call signs of former Kalaupapa hams.
FYI, here's the list of those who have been identified:

From old call books, these hams were listed:
Fall 1949: KH6PU Charles O. Bittel
                         KH6TS Edward K. Bell

Fall 1954: KH6UG Walter Siu
                          WH6BDL Albert S. Hilongo

Spring 1958 KH6ALX Sammy M. Kuakine
                           KH6BWG William O. Kupele
                           KH6BDL Albert S. Hilongo
                           KH6TS Edward K. Bell

Also, a mainland ham contributed a copy of a QSL card he received from KH6BWG for a 1957 contact on CW.

Thank you to those who contributed names and call signs and also those who made suggestions as to who to contact and where to search.

73,
Bev, AH6NF
