The Oahu QSL bureau has recently received a new shipment of several
hundred cards.
QSL bureau cards will be available at the Koolau Amateur Radio Club
(KH6J) Field Day site in Kualoa Regional Park (off Kamehameha Hwy,
Kaneohe Bay) from about 9 AM Saturday onwards. If you visit the Field
Day site, please check the plastic tubs for any cards you may have.
There are currently bureau cards on file for hundreds of Oahu callsigns.
In particular, the bureau now has a large number of cards (more than
about 25) for the following (** more than about 100)
AH6: H HU IM NF OY OZ
AH7: C** U**
KH6: ALF AQ BO** CD EV** FQ IM IX J JC K OJ OO QH TO ZZ
KH7: C D F RS TV U
NH6: D DC QJ
WH6: CC FA H O
WH7: N** Z
If you won't be at the Field Day site, there are four other options:
1. Send a check to the overall Hawaii QSL manager, NH7FY, Barbara to
establish an account for postage and ask us to mail the cards to you.
Checks can be made out to KH6 Hawaii QSL Bureau, and mailed to: KH6
Hawaii QSL Bureau, Attn: Barbara Darling NH7FY, PO Box 1938, Hilo, HI 96721.
2. Go to one of the club meetings where the cards will be and pick them
up. These meetings currently are EARC, KARC, and HARC. Kevin AH6QO has
kindly offered to carry cards back and forth to these club meetings.
3. E-mail or phone me to arrange a time for you to stop by my QTH and
pick up the cards (see address and phone below).
4. Tell me that you do not want the cards. In this case we will
probably destroy them. Be careful on this option - I've seen quite a
few rare prefixes go by in the sorting process.
