[HIham] SK KH6AQ Warren Smith

To all:

This mornings Advertiser reports the passing of KH6AQ, age 92.

For those who didn't have the pleasure of knowing, he was a fine  
operator and at the same time a uniquely modest person.

He earned both "5 band DXCC" AND "5 band Worked All States" from a  
small lot in Kailua Oahu.

After retiring from FAA, he worked for several years as a commercial  
radio operator aboard large commercial ships in various parts of the  
world.

He served as Net Control for the Friendly Net for many years, handling  
the net in model fashion.

RIP Smitty.
