Hello Warren,
If you do a boolean search on Google: "PC power Supplies" +"12 volt power supplies"
you will get case histories of how folks do what you want to do.
Caveats are to load the heavy current 5 volt output of the supply to some value, in order to get the supply to regulate the various outputs. Most use a car light bulb, or other pilot lamp, and have found that you sometimes have to experiment with the amount of minimum current draw to get the supply to regulate. Some say there is RF switching noise on the DC outputs.
