Hawaii Hams, especially on Oahu.
There is a great opportunity to view the ISS on the evening of Saturday,
May 13. At a little after 8:00 pm, the ISS will be visible as it rises
from the Northwest, and climbs to an altitude of 62 degrees (that's
almost 2/3 of the way from the horizon to vertical overhead). It
continues on to the Southeast, but eventually will hit a point where the
earth blocks the sunlight and it won't be visible for the remainder of
the pass. Should be a nice one to watch, and you'll gain a newfound
appreciation for the precision of orbital mechanics.
I'll post more details later in the week.
