An excellent start at a compromise. Any chance of allowing small antennas
for microwave like a 1.2GHz Yagi? Or 802.11b access point?
Perhaps antennas can be of unlimited length, but no wider then 2" wide, OR
must be less then 2' in the longest dimension. Actual numbers may change,
I'm just trying to lay down an idea in a way that non-technical people can
understand. Even my suggestion isn't perfect - a 2 meter J-pole wouldn't
pass. Neither would a vertical with radials .... oh well - back to the
drawing board.

We have an amendment going in hopefully today to that provides for wire,
vertical and mobile whip type installations in CC&Rs which should
address several concerns about large HF yagis. We look forward to
keeping the bill alive until it reaches the Senate.
