Hi to all:
An old article I wrote about 5 years ago while Net Manager of the Hawaii
Afternoon Net is now being circulated without my knowledge and without my
permission.
The article was originally circulated by e-mail as best I can recall. It
was aimed at a particular situation then existing and sure could have used
some trimming and update before being re-circulated...
One copy was sent to the Big Island Amateur Radio Club bulletin editor and
was then re-printed verbatim in the latest edition without my knowledge or
permission. The article was received by the editor in a plain envelope with
no signature and no return address. The postmarked ZIP code was not noted
before the envelope was tossed. The envelope was certainly not mailed by me.
Another copy was sent to a Kauai amateur, again without return address. It
bore an Aiea post office ZIP code. It did bear (on the signature line) the
initials "WM" as in my call sign KH6WM. However I have no knowledge of how
it got sent and why.
If the sender wishes to take credit for spreading this old article around,
please step forward for recognition. Otherwise, please stop signing my
call-sign initials.
73,
Warren KH6WM
