Sir,

What exactly does Code seed requirements have been reduced to 5-wpm mean?  Why is it called "Code seed"?  Has a date been chosed for the July test date?  I am very much interested in upgrading my ham license.  I take it the Novice class is equivalent to the Technician class nowadays. I want to go for the General class and am prepared for the 13 wpm code test.  However, it sounds like it's no longer needed.  I don't know if I feel cheated or happy about it.  I've been listening to the Gordo West morse code tapes and he has helped me speed up my code.  

Are you the individual who works at Starcomm Wireless?  If so, then I've met you.  I was there at your office a couple of years ago taking the GROL license.  Not only did I pass it but I also passed the shipboard radar endorsement exam.  Thanks for all your help.
