My name is Robert Brown.  I received my novice license back in Virginia in 1991 and have always been interested in ham radio as a hobby.  To date I've never been on the air since I don't own a rig.  Nevertheless, I continue to enjoy reading about the hobby through magazines, e-mail and web sites.  I have never attended any function of the HARC nor have I ever belonged to such a club but I want to apologize for the rude behavior you encountered the other Saturday.   This is most unfortunate.  I understand there are those who would be rude no matter what organization one belonged to.  This tends to ruin the hobby for everyone.  I hope you would be able to receive a formal apology from those in the leadership position.  Thank you for voicing your feelings
