To Honolulu Amateur Radio Club members and other interested hams:

My apologies for using reflector bandwidth but HARC has no automated list.

When I was first appointed Assistant Section Manager for Oahu (under the
Pacific Section of ARRL), I contacted the HARC president about appearing
regularly at HARC meetings and giving a brief report (for the Pacific
Section).

I was assured that I would be given a courteous and reasonable reception.

Instead, at last Saturday's meeting, I experienced hostile and discourteous
treatment.

I have received no apology from the HARC president nor from the individual
responsible.

Therefore, until this situation is resolved, I will not be appearing at HARC
meetings.
