[High-Speed-CW] How to get out of a "rut?"

Hi all,

I'm new to the list.  I didn't know it existed until yesterday.

In June is the biannual IARU HST (High Speed Telegraphy) World 
Championship in Macedonia.  Details at http://www.hst2005.com.mk/

I will be going for the first time, and started doing a little CW 
practice a few weeks ago.  Problem is I find myself stuck in a "rut" 
especially with numbers (particularly differentiating 7 and 8) once I
hit around 65 WPM.

Any thoughts?
