[Henry] Henry 2K relay problem

I reported several weeks ago that I was having a problem keying my old Henry
2K. I checked out everything as follows:

S1 turns on the filaments. RY4 (a 115N020 time delay relay) allows you to
switch on the high voltage by closing Relay 1. This is accomplished by
turning on S2 (a DPDT switch)
that turns on the high voltage. With the high voltage on there is a 6N02 (I
have been using a 6N05) time delay relay which energizes relay 2 which
allows the driver to key the amp. This keying line is a simple normally
open circuit that closes when you key the exciter. But if relay 2 is not
making good contact the line stays open and the exciter goes directly to the
antenna.

Since the time delays work and so do the switches the culprit is relay 2.
Relay 1 closes and the high voltage reads 2950 volts with no load. I
converted to solid state stacks about 10 or 12 years ago which gives me
about 150 volts more no load and helps control the voltage drop that was
significant with the 3B28's (200 volts compared to nearly 400 volts). I
checked relay 2 and it does make contact but not enough to make a good
connection. I do notice that switching the S2 switch several times helps
make connection and once connected the amp keys Ok. I do note that there is
a greenish flash on the rightmost contacts and hear some sparking which
indicates rubbish in the contacts.

Years ago I used a relay burnishing kit but except for one type in the
Mcmaster-Carrr catalog they seem to be missing from my catalogs. I need to
clean away years of gunk and dust and one ham said he just uses a chemical
solution. I need to clean up the relay (both really) but can I get by
without burnishing the contacts?

Thnks for the help in advance.

I need ideas of how to clean the relays and assure relay 2 makes good
contact.
