Hi Jerry.
As an existing and proud 8K Ultra owner I can inform you
that here in Sweden 3phase 400volt is the way to go.
Our singel phase can deliver max 20amps, but lucky for us
every home has 3phase 400v, 20 or 25 amps each phase.
The electrical standard here gives us macaroni wires in the wall
compare to what you have, thats why singel phase gives this low current.
Well, 3phase and 400v isn't really much, a typichal private home
here can consume totally around 12-16kw continuous, no more.
As far as I know the Henry company is the only company selling
amps for Hams with 3 phase PS i.e the 8K. Lucky for me.
Peculiar is the fact that my anod voltage is lower than the standard
singel phase 8K. I have 5kv, and singel phase 8K in the US have
5600kv. This is according to the manual and I can not understand
the reason why Henry choose this.
Do you have an explanation Dan ?
by the way Jerry,,,,what is "zerk fittings" ??
