Hi Ken

I have to disagree with you. I've owned a pair of SA-2060's for about 15
years and our club has one. There is nothing fragile about the switch.

AB2RA's website says " If you operate the switch often, it will wear out
the detents or contacts as they wipe off the plating"

There are no detents on the switch to "wipe off the plating". The detents
are in a separate module attached to the front panel.

As far as wiping off the plating of the switch wafers (not contacts), I've
never heard of that happening. The switch is robust and I can't see why
it would wear out faster than any other ceramic switch.

I've had to remove the switch from the sensor module to replace the SO-239
on the club' unit and on one of mine. Not fun, but pretty
straightforward.
