[Heathkit] HR-150

I guess you mean the GR-150. IMHO it is cute, overpriced for the modest
features offered. To me no better than a crystal radio. No soldering, nuts
and screws component mounting. If it were $100 or less I would consider
buying one just to say I have a Heathkit from the "new" Heathkit company
since the cabinet looks good but I will pass on it and see if they come up
with something more sophisticated. I asked on the Heathkit Facebook page if
anyone ordered one yet and what their impressions were but no one stated
that they ordered one and most comments were negative or neutral in nature.
Too bad, those of us who know or knew about Heathkit were expecting more.
The kit is designed for kids who don't know about the company and its
heritage.

Hello All,
Unless I've missed something, I haven't seen any comment on the HR-150 from
the "new" Heathkit company. As a lifelong fan of Heathkits---I built an AT-1
in 1954---I would really like to hear what other Heath fans think of this
first offering.
Cheers,
