Heath Items For Sale:
SB-614 Monitor Scope, VHF-1 Seneca Transmitter, HD-1410 Keyer /
Paddles, Parts for SB-220/221, Miscellaneous Heath parts,
original Heath manuals, and other miscellaneous Heath items:
Heath SB-614 Monitor Scope:
This unit matches the SB line of Heath equipment, and is
made to monitor your transmitted signal. It uses a 3 inch
CRT.
Heath has designed at least three different monitor scopes.
This is the latest model, and is all solid state, except for the
CRT.
I have used it to monitor transmit signals, and it works great.
Cosmetically, it looks great as well. The graticule is sharp and
nice. No scratches or defects that I can find. Pristine!
With paper work for $150.
Heath VHF-1 "Seneca" 6 and 2 meter transmitter:
The Seneca is a ruggedly built 6 and 2 meter transmitter. On 6
meters, it provides up to 120 watts AM input and 140 watts CW
input (slightly less on 2 meters). Circuit has two built-in power
supplies, five RF stages, two dual-triode audio stages and two
6146's in the final amplifier. A spotting switch is provided for
"zero-beating" an incoming signal and allows tuning of the
transmitter before switching on the final amplifier. An auxiliary
socket provides for receiver muting, and remote operation of an
antenna relay. It has very extensive shielding, and can be operated
with crystal control, or with the internal VFO.
This particular unit comes from an SK estate, and has not been
tested. The electrolytic caps have not been replaced. Cosmetically,
the front panel is perfect. All of the correct knobs are there, and
yes, it even includes the nice chrome plated screws to hold it into
the rack mount type case. The case is similar to the Apache, Mohawk,
Warrior, etc., except this one has a door in the top that can be opened.
Paperwork is included for $100. Pickup near Ocala FL would be
preferred, since it weighs about 50 pounds. It could be shipped,
but would be expensive.
Heath HD-1410 Keyer / Paddles:
The Heath HD-1410 keyer is a combination of electronics for
the keyer, and paddles to operate the keyer. It will operate
on either 120 V AC or 13 V DC, and is made to key both positive
and negative voltages. It is rated to key +300 V DC at 200 ma,
or -200 V at 10 ma. This means it will key modern rigs, and
also vintage rigs.
A previous owner changed the external speaker (sidetone) output
connector to a 1/4 inch stereo connector for external paddles
(such as a Bencher). In the process, he apparently disconnected
the internal speaker, so that no sidetone is heard. Of course
most rigs today have sidetone built in, so this a a good thing.
Other than the sidetone, this unit works well, and looks extremely
nice.
With paper work for $50.
Knobs for SB series:
Dark green knobs with aluminum skirt, 1 1/8 inch in diameter.
These are the medium size knob used in all of the SB series of
transceivers, receivers, transmitters and accessories.
Two available at $5 each.
Heath SB-220 / SB-221 parts:
Heath SB-221 logo
This is the logo with the Heath name and SB-221, that goes
in the upper left of the front panel. It looks perfect.
No scratches or defects. $15
Heath SB-220 original metering and rectifier PC board
This is the original board from an SB-220 HF amp that was replaced
with one of the Harbach boards. Almost all of the resistors on this
board drift over time, and result in inaccurate meter readings. This
board has had ALL of the metering resistors replaced with 1% or 2%
precision resistors. The 4.7 Meg resistors in the high voltage
measuring section have been replaced with resistors rated to take the
high voltage, as well as being more precision. This board includes
the 10 watt zener diode. This effectively makes the board very
similar to the Harbach board, which they sell for $38. Buy this
board for only $25.
Original metering rectifier board, as above, but does NOT have the
10 watt zener diode included. $20
Original 10 watt 5.1 volt zener diode for SB-220. $10
SB-220 grid choke (1 mh, Part # 45-4, RFC 4 and 5)
These often go up in smoke when there is a tube problem.
These are fine, with no problems. $5 each
Heath HM-102/HM-2102 Wattmeter Parts (all are common to both meters):
Outer clam shell cabinet (left and right sides plus top) in nice
condition. $12
Set of four feet, w/hardware. $8
Three position SWR/Power switch
Switches between SWR, high and low power. $7
I have many Heath SB-630 Station Console parts available. Most of
the internal parts are available, but no clock. The clock movement,
knobs, front panel, outer case and reflectometer assembly are gone,
but switches, etc. are still available. Please let me know what you
need.
I also have parts from a Heath HD-15 phone patch available.
What do you need?
Gray Heath carry handle
This handle is the medium dark gray.
It would have been used on things such as signal
generators, and other test equipment, and maybe other
things as well. It is 4 1/2 inches long with a single
screw in each end for mounting; the screws are included.
$5
ORIGINAL Heath manuals:
These are original manuals only, for Heath equipment.
They are in very nice condition. Schematic is in the book.
GD-600 Photoelectric Light Switch, $5
HD-1234 Coaxial Switch, $4
HD-1481 Remote Coax Switch, $8
HW-2021 2 meter HT, No check marks, $9
HW-2036 2 meter transceiver, partial manual, $8
IN-17 Decade Resistance Box, $4
These are original Heath manuals only.
I also have many other accessories available such as many
different types of microphones, HTs, VHF and UHF rigs, HF
and VHF/UHF antennas, connectors, miscellaneous accessories,
etc.
Just too many to list here. Please e-mail your requests.
Prices do not include shipping from Florida.
Thanks.
