[Heathkit] DX-60 Rotary Switch

Me, too.

When I was building my DX-60A, I put too much stress on the ceramic band
switch wafer by bending the stiff leads to the final tank coil. Rather
than order a new one, my dad fixed it with epoxy. We heat cured it by
placing the wafer over the area of the gas stove where the pilot burner
was. That epoxy hardened overnight like glass. After 47 years, it's
still holding.
On the other hand, I have never had any luck with 5 minute epoxy as a
structural adhesive. It seems to always stay rubbery. Get some really
good 24-hour cure epoxy.

                 73,

                 Bob WB2VUF
