Hello, I have a dx 100B and I want to connect a 110 v relay to mute the receiver. I have the none b manual. It appears to be pins 2 &4 . I can't read anything on the outside of the socket and will probably have to trace it to be sure. I Certainly don't want to have any fireworks. So my question is : Is the wiring the same on that socket on ALL Dx 100's ? Reading the manual says that 110 v is present with the plate switch on. I am planning on using the transmitter CW only. Basically , I'm going to use a coax switch to manually transfer between xmtr and rcvr. I know it sounds risky, but when you're low on cash sometime you have to improvise.
Thanks for any help,
Andrew
